Where do I start?
First, you’ll need to have a domain registered (www.yourdomainname.com). You can do this yourself using a service such as godaddy, or PlushMedia would be happy to provide this as a service for our customers. After the domain registration is completed, you’ll need a hosting account to host your domain. Should you choose to purchase a hosting account on your own, a company we highly recommend is HostRocket. Plush Media also has website hosting services available with our website design packages, should you choose to simplify the process.
If I utilize your registration and hosting services, will I still retain ownership of my domain?
Absolutely. Plush Media has no desire to hold anyone’s website hostage, we’ve heard the horror stories.
I already have a domain, and website up and running.. but I’d like for you to give it some OOMPH! Is this possible?
Of course! Let’s take that Volkswagen and turn it into a Porsche. There are three “Upgrade” packages available. Whether you need a small tune up, or total engine replacement, we can definitely get you going in the right direction.
I’ve had some pretty bad experiences in the past with flaky designers disappearing, can you assure me that will not be an issue?
Communication is key! As I work to create your project with you, I will keep you up-to-date on all progress. I urge you to e-mail me anytime with any questions that you have regarding our design project. Your e-mail will be responded to within normal business hours (Mon-Fri: 11am-5pm, excluding all holidays). Keeping in constant contact via e-mail helps to eliminate any misunderstandings, and complications. Although phone conversations within normal business hours are happily accepted, e-mail is the preferred primary method of contact because it helps to keep an electronic record of all communication with clients. PlushMedia takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is dedicated to leaving clients fully satisfied with their final product.
How long will my project take?
PlushMedia’s goal is to deliver very high quality work in a very timely manner. Project turnaround time depends on the size of your project and the current workload, and can be delivered anywhere from 5 business days, to 4 weeks or longer. This will be discussed prior to agreeing to create your project with you.
When content is requested for your project, the sooner everything needed to complete your project is delivered, the sooner your project will be completed. Delays due to the client not providing essential items (images, website copy, etc.) needed to complete their project is not PlushMedia’s responsibility. At the time content is requested if it is not provided within 7 business days, you will be placed back on the current project waiting list before work is resumed. After the 14 day mark if no response has been received, your project will be considered expired.

Can you provide content, stock images, or other materials for my project?
Plush Media would be happy to provide these items for you. Key points that you would like to make must be provided and PlushMedia will transform these key points into your website content. This is considered an “add on” and there will be an additional charge for these services.
What methods of payment do you accept?
PlushMedia accepts credit/debit card payments via PayPal or Square.
We are a small business, and on a tight budget. Can we split payments into some sort of payment plan?
Yes, “project financing” is available from just $250 per month. A financed web project $750 or under will not begin until all payments have been made in full. Print design graphics (logos, flyers, etc) must be paid in full before PlushMedia will begin, for obvious reasons. Any un-packaged web design project over $750 requires a nonrefundable 50% deposit before PlushMedia will begin, and the balance is due upon the completion and your approval of the project. PlushMedia will not upload web projects to a server other than our own until the second half is paid in full. All packaged priced projects must be paid in full.
I really need this project completed before your current availability allows. Is there anything at all we can arrange?
If you would like to request that an “express rush” be applied to a project for any reason, PlushMedia will complete your project outside of normally scheduled work hours if our schedule permits, for an additional fee. If you would like to push a current project ahead of normally scheduled completion for any reason, a rush fee will be applied. The full balance of a rushed project is due before PlushMedia will begin. This fee is decided based on the size of your project, and time-frame it needs to be completed in.
I really love my website/logo design that you created, I know people will request similar designs. I would prefer that you not make them too similar to mine, is this possible?
PlushMedia reserves the right to utilize similar design elements on separate projects as seen fit. They will never be carbon copies, and always custom fit to each particular project. If you would prefer that similar design elements used in your web project not be used again, you can pay an additional “exclusivity fee” to exclusively own all design elements utilized in your design.
I’d like an e-commerce boutique design, will I be able to add/remove products and make changes easily myself once my website is live?
Yes. You will have complete back end access with a username/password to easily make these types of updates to your online boutique with no html knowledge necessary.
I’d really rather have you maintain my website, how does this work?
That’s fine! Normal website maintenance after a web project is uploaded and in the clients possession is billed at the normal hourly rate. There are also maintenance plans available for purchase as an add on to your web design package which offer more bang for your buck.
